under the bus
There's a Montreal phone call in ten minutes. I'm not going to be on it.

Ultimately, I have to choose between Somerville Open Studios happening at all, or convincing Farah Mendlesohn that using Zambia would make Anticipation's pocket program not get nominated for a Hogu award for best work of fiction. Sorry, Farah, you just got thrown under the bus. If you climb out from under there on your own, more power to you.

... Meaning, they might not use Zambia? What else is there?

Wiscon has a tool that's in many ways better than Zambia. Not that they're sharing.

OK, first of all, I'm not annoyed at anyone, I'm just unable to do Zambia advocacy and SOS both. I had to pick one, and I chose to drop the one I was hoping might not be necessary. And it does indeed look like Montreal will be using Zambia. Hooray!

The choice was Ben Yalow's N4 software, or Zambia. I've used both, and gave honest opinions of both.

Frankly, Terry was delighted to find out that Zambia was on SourceForge later; that pushed him over the edge. (I'd known it was OpenSource, but forgotten it was on SourceForge.)
